This concept was
created by Women of
the ELCA to
emphasize our
understanding of a
healthy heart in its
emotional, physical,
and spiritual
contexts. A healthy
heart as strong,
forgiving, bold, and
so on all contribute
to our complete
journey toward
wellness.
Our healthy hearts
fair is a journey
through the Stations
of the Healthy
Heart. Each heart
station or table is
connected with a
particular verse
from the Bible as
well as a hands-on
activity in which to
engage. There are a
total of 12 heart
tables you can set
up.
If you have not
already done so,
contact the
churchwide Women of
the ELCA
staff about
materials for your
Stations of the
Healthy Heart.
We recommend you
choose at least
five, and you are
certainly welcome to
use them all. The
heart stations are:
