Support the HEART for Women Act
Women of the ELCA has endorsed this bi-partisan bill introduced on February 14, 2006, in the Senate and House of Representatives.

The good news is that more co-sponsors have signed on. Yet there's still more to do to get this bill passed. Read the update on the HEART for Women Act; then continue your work with your senators and representatives. By collectively putting our voices together to advocate on behalf of those who have died or are ill, or who could become so, we become an effective, powerful voice for action on women's health issues.

Do you get e-mail alerts about
health issues?

E-mail, like regular mail, contains its share of "junk." Not everything you read is worth believing ... not even if it comes from a well-meaning friend. Read Molly Ginty's article on e-mail health alerts.
